Well done Pedro  :aaaaa:
He really is a gorgeous lad, I love all the blue on his head. Great pictures of him looking so bright and relaxed

Just wondering Paddy, can he stretch far enough to reach that picture on the wall? if so, he's going to eat it at some point :)

Your so right I will pull the cage away from the wall a little more, & he really does have a very blue head doesn't he. Thanks Kerin.

What a poser already, and so funny, these orange wings they are all so different and all so funny, it will be a good entertainment show how Echo and Pedro develop in their new homes, keep it up boys, hard work to train these slaves.

Chorley is not really a chewer, it has taken me nearly 2 years to persuade him if tries a little then his beak would not grow so long.

Bye the way, is that wallpaper blown vinyl? Birds just love the stuff, you will be surprised how quickly they can strip a wall :b2:

Kendra, your post really made me laugh, we keep chinchillas & they have already helped strip one wall, I will make the effort to keep Pedro from helping them.

That's what I did . My baby bird stripped it from behind her cage, I would patch more in, she would strip it. Eventually I finished the job and painted. Now I have a shower curtain behind Chewys cage so the surface doesn't blister and come off from repeated showers :)

I only have 1 wall in the whole house papered Dusky sits on top of the cupboard, out of my reach and steadily pulls the stuff off, there are now at least 3 big map patches across the wall.

I've now got Pedro taking food from my hand & he's been out of his cage all day, so we are making progress.

Great he's coming on so well. Just make sure he still enjoys being in his cage sometimes, or you'll have fun and games trying to get him back in, and a screaming parrot when he's in his cage, that's no fun for anyone.
Good progress though

Thanks I'd be lost without your advice & knowledge.

well done you you must be beaming! its so rewarding isn't it :)
Yeah it is, I'm still worried about getting bit but we are taking it a day at a time, nice & slow, but I feel really good with the progress we've made in a very short time. Thanks

:pancarta: we all get a bite now and then, if and when you do don't panic, scream or shout, do your very best to stay calm (you can mutter under your breath).

Its good to follow your progress and I can see the trust is building so I will keep an eye on just how well the bond is growing it all :thumbsup:from me
