        They are the breeders details. Does it have a PS written on it if so that is a Parrot Society registered ring, often there is a year i.e. 18 which would mean 2018. The ring is your proof of id so do not put it on the forum but you can tell folk if it is a coloured ring. Do post on the main forum and tell us about your bird and we love a photo too.

        My Ammies loves them raw,only veg he likes cooked is a slice of warm carrot or broccoli and sometimes potato. I rinse the sugar snap or mange tout first and dry them off on tea towel of kitchen paper. Rinse all fruit anyway before giving it to you parrot. Which you probably do.

      The vet I'm taking chewy to is an avian vet named tom bailey. He works with an exotic vet called lance jepson (Lou kindly pointed me in the right direction)


      His practice specialises in exotic pets, and they work out of several practices including Carmarthen and Swansea. They do different days and times at the surgeries and you have to book in advance. I'll let you know what I think of him after I've taken Chewy tomorrow :)

        I believe he had a Hawkhead parrot called Murphy. If he did then its him.

      Thanks for all the suggestions Diana. I have downloaded Darktable and Rawtherapee already and will look ar IRC after the Mexican GP. But I am getting a problem finding Cinelerra in Software Manager on Linux. It just wont find it. But when I Google it it is found no problem.
