Hello

i spend one hour per day. Preparing their food and loading those bowls in an order that they’re used to. Last thing I always do is hugging brocolli. She always climbs on the Roof sharing those minutes with me being close to her (I’m not petting although i want so much) but marcus gets very annoyed that she is so close to me and lately he starts climbing too. But she blocks him so he can not reach me. Is like she knows that he will cut me and protects me from getting attacked. But I’m doing it fast enough so I can leave and let them alone

Goodmorning forum :) my beauties here are doing great. No complaints here :) Marcus though is kind of every single day pissed with me. He is annoyed every time I approach (I usually climb to a chair and add some treats to the roof so they can eat while they chill at their favorite spot on the top) but he is also annoyed when I’m on the feeding bowls too 🤪. My little princess always come to say a hi (I’m still not petting her just teasing her toes a little… that’s all). They both visit the nest ( and my little princess also goes down to the second chamber) they spend most of the day undisturbed they eat lots of nice things..everything is fine… I wish he wasn’t aggressive with me. He acts like he is not afraid of me any more. Is that jealousy? Or defending his house? Is he feeling threatened by me 🤪😂
 
I can see him every time the female approaches me he tries to distract her interest and focus on him ( he immediately flies to the nest or grabbing a toy biting it or making specific sounds while his feathers are grown like a ball. But lately he stops just distracting her and he is coming for me 😁. At the video didn’t got the chance to record him jumping and biting the cage bar. And his bite is strong I can understsnd it’s gonna be a hard bloody one 🤣🤣🤣.

And gently she’s kissing him to relax other times
She’s biting him with confidence to go away and some other times she just watches him letting him to get me 🤣🤣🤣🤣
 
Your always going to be the rival for his beloved ....
You love them...... she loves you..... he loves her but he would dearly like you to vanish.... Well except at meal times!
It seems to me that she is the apple of everybody's eye :lol: she has you both wrapped around her little toes :feel_loved: good for her :thumbsup:
 
But she is such a sweet bird and her approach is always so tender. She’s a treasure :) she deserves our attention 😊😊😊😊
Since he is parent raised I would expect that he would always feel instinctively a fear for humans. He never screams (it’s been years since I’ve heard him screaming), he talks (some words besides his name) and acts like he is not scared at all. I usually am in a hurry, so i just load food and leave. But There are times that I take some seconds
And let him do his thing. He jumps to the feeding bowls and gives me a strong bite. and then i blow him but gently 🤣🤣. And if he repeats I blow him again and he stops…he takes a treat and is ok. Though he gets used to that too and he doesn’t really care my reaction.
So far when I open the cage to Clean Their mess he doesn’t demonstrate aggressiveness at all. He just watches me. Will this change u think? Will I have to use protection to get inside the cage and clean?😳
 
Think whether you end up with him getting you when you're in the cage is up to him but suspect the princess wouldn't allow it
 
Thank u Tash, I shall be cautious. So far though he is not into hurting me or chasing me away when I’m inside..Not at all. He just watches me cleaning…and I do nothing more when I’m inside but just cleaning. Since my little Princess feels so comfortable with nest maybe shes thinking of 🥚 🥚 🥚 🤷🏻‍♂️ So I can accept a couple of bites from Marcus if he needs to give them to Me but I would prefer not to bite me at all 🤣

Fingers crossed today for Marcus to be sensible and kind and for our neighbor country 🤔…after all this pandemic war is like the cherry on the top of the pie. But on the other hand. It is what it is and forever has been that way 🤪
 
Have been constructing scenarios in which I transfer both of my beauties to the island maybe if things go crazy.really can’t understand this need of human kind destroying it’s own kind. Such a fool.
well this theory about corn or wheat being the most “clever” species as they managed to survive and become necessary to humans feels so right🤣
Im concerned Tash as all of us 🤪 but i will come back with an update. I’ve left those lovely birdies I care for to live their love. And mostly I’ve done this
Cause Marcus gets really mad even if i dare to get close to my little princess and tease and cuddle with her toes. So I don’t do that either. I’m Just making sure they feed right and are cleaned and bathed. I will update i promise
(There’s no plucking anymore have I already mentioned that? Well there’s not 😁😁😁😁)
 
Well, it’s been crazy for me down here. Unfortunately I can’t spend time with my birdies I just load food and leave. But there’s no plucking. Not a single feather not even this period that she has always been plucking her belly. So I’m just over the moon watching my little princess being so beautiful and healthy. It’s been years since I’ve stoped petting her I just tease her toes she always comes close to me.
Marcus on the other side has been so aggressive I always laugh with him and put my finger and pull off it immediately so he just bites the cage. My little princes always steps slowly and forces him to leave me alone. She is so sweet to both of us. Marcus respects her wish To stop buling me but if he insists she gets wild with him.
But lately she acts different. She let him bully me she doesn’t step in to end his behavior and she spends so much time inside the box (I’m used to it for so Many years they both have been visiting Again And again the nest) but she stays there quite long but I don’t pay much attention
Today I arrived after the sunset. I noticed only one bird was at the perch. I assumed my little princess is still at the nest for a reason but it was strange that she heard me and didn’t come to
Say hello.I got back inside the house Untill I heard them both talking parrot language. It’s already night and got out again and watched them standing side by side at their perch.
I opened the nest and this is what I got

Tash, I’m so confused. Just found out and still thinking what am I gonna do. Earlier Today morning was about to text u and give u all a brief too but now I saw this thing in the nest ( is called egg 🤪) so confused. Now? She decided to do this now that am so fu**ed. I have zero time 🤪🤪
