Hi Everyone!
I'm still thinking and researching and thinking and looking... *sigh*
I started looking into Galahs, they seem very outgoing and affectionate and not quite (??!) as noisy as other toos... and I'm also looking at tiels which I love but really want a slightly bigger bird.
I also rather fell for the GCC in my research. They seem such fun and very cuddly, and perhaps a great companion for when working from home. Perhaps this could be the perfect compromise if a CAG or too might not be ideal. I even made contact with a conure breeder but appears to be a scam so that's a reminder to me to not get carried away!
Any GCC lovers here?
Or, do I stop looking, register with some more rescues and see who finds me?
And of course I still dream of a Grey... The more I look into them, it seems that they are adorable babies and then turn into a nightmare for a few years as maturing and then come out the other side - if you work through it. Is that why so many end up for sale at a few years old?
Do fledgling parrots have a set learning period where they can be introduced to new things and situations with less fear? Could anyone recommend any reading on this subject?
Thanks again for reading my ramblings - well done for making it to the end!!
