that's ok, I have had a few accidents with toys, twice I have had to take birds to the fire station for removal of parts of toys from beaks. but we all try our best to keep a bird safe, but there is no 100 per cent safe place. even a nest box, you may think how can a nest box be dangerous, I had a female Pennant that got her toe caught inside and she bit her toe off to escape, one box that had internal pieces of wood to help a bird climb out to the top had one of its runs come off and a bird got caught on a thin nail, even one of my greys chewed the hole of one box and got a splinter through its tongue. even Conker last week managed to get her foot caught in-between the food bowl and the holder bar inside a cage.
