Weather Warnings Ex-hurricane Ophelia

yes this was upgraded and is a little unsteady in its strength but it is thought to hit the west coast possibly wales or cornwall

It's Northern Ireland, North West England and Scotland that are currently under the Yellow wind warning for Monday.

I had not seen anything about that but should have noticed. I am glad there are no trees within falling distance of me.

yes it is turning north at the moment but keep a close eye as with all hurricanes and strong weathers they are so changeable in power and direction

Metoffice have updated the track today(Saturday) to cover the South West Peninsula and up the Irish Sea, and affecting west WAles...hang on to your hat Diana!

Keep an eye on this folks as the model will no doubt get amended again

The links I provide are to the actual metoffice warnings and there is a description of the area covered, along with a map of the area covered by that particular warning.

Keep checking those for the up-to-date picture from our Met Office...there will be revised Shipping Forecasts issued at 23:00 and 05:00.
