Thank you very much! Big 50! On Wednesday we got a call about another cockatiel that needed a new home so picked her up that evening. We renamed her Aria as the people said she loves Mozart and classical flute. Already best birthday! Thank you

Thank you. She’s a sweetie. The picture doesn’t show it but her beak is very long and needs to be trimmed. I’ve never had to trim a beak so I’ll probably be posting for advice on that soon.

I prefer to get a vet to do the trimming using a dremmel as it's filing rather than snipping. Snipping with clippers puts pressure on the cere when it's done dremmel doesn't do less painful. The upside would be that your bird could have a quick health check and be registered with your vet all at the same time.
