Hello, May I ask if anyone can advise. Will Boron heat treatment for woodworm and other wood insects kill or make my parrot sick? The website says that it is safe for animals but does not mention birds. Many thanks.
I would say it's NOT safe. Many things are safe for dogs and cats but not safe for birds.
Edited to add it recommends humans ware gloves and a mask....
Says bird safe but dare say those are wild birds outside who can move away from the substance rather than be in a confined area like a cage bird.
Try contacting them and asking for the ingredients list or ensure your bird stays at a relatives house for a week while you treat and air your home afterwards
I agree best not to chance it.
The Parrot Society UK may have some further advice.
Does any members know of a safe woodworm treatment where there's parrots?
Ardap Insect Killer. Kills Red Mite in poultry houses as well as lice, fleas, silverfish and many other crawling insects. Spray throughout the chicken coop to kill red mite completely.

You can buy it cheaper elsewhere. You actually don't need a lot of it sprayed around for it to clear an area and keep it clear
