What does this mean

Hi ive got a baby ringneck shes about 5 months but she keeps doing this an sqeaking me shes really friendly but each time she sees me this happens. None of my other have ever done this

I thought the same is it hormoans but thought to young worried me abit incase theres something not right an its only when she sees me she starts sitting like it
Its not unusual for birds to do that with their person, if that is what it is. If youre petting her avoid stroking her body and stick to her head as that can encourage hormonal behaviour. I had a female IRN and did not see hormonal behaviour like that at 5 months but perhaps someone with more experience might be able to give more insight into this
 
The female ringnecks way of trying to bond is to act submissive, this is what your bird is doing, it is not just used at times of matting young females can act kike this when they want just to be friends, or show they are part of the flock
