DO NOT PURCHASE via this website.

Your admin team have been busy researching ...following someone who joined the forum last week and who has subsequently been banned.

They posted in the chat box that they had macaws for sale. Admin looked into their details...a very odd mix of IP address in Cameroon and website owner in Pakistan! The email address they registered led us to look at the above website.

It is a total scam. Pictures and descriptions of birds for sale have been taken directly from a U.K. Breeders website, without permission. The address on the website pretends to be a pet shop, but the picture has been edited to include the name this company is trading from, and put parrots on a stand outside the shop....there is a pet shop on the street concerned but it doesn't have the number stated on this site. There is no proper landline number stated, which is against distance selling regulations. There are links to Facebook and Twitter pages.

Action fraud police have been informed and we have a formal crime reference number from them. They have asked us to post a thread here to raise awareness of this issue and they will be following up.

As we always advise...when purchasing a parrot, always try to physically visit the breeder, look at the parrots and their set up, ask for references, check paperwork, and bird ID Information.

I see at least 20 scams involving livestock every day,and I am not looking to buy!The chance of stopping this soon is(in my opinion)zero.

if we can stop one person parting with their money and getting zip in return then it's worth it surely? Knocking one off the net is one less for people to worry about ... ok so probably crop up elsewhere under another name but at least this particular one will go .... she said with her fingers crossed ....

You know you flag something up and report it to the official places ... and it takes a freaking YEAR for those places out there that are supposed to protect us to actually take action ..... don't ya just feel like your :BangHead:
Also interesting to see other sites follow our lead and then claim it is them that has discovered the information and decided to copy write their article ..... wonder what they would do if we actually put all our stuff up to prove actually you saw it here first :naughty2:

Anyways http://www.iomtoday.co.im/article.cfm?id=37885&headline=Pirate parrot store warning from financial watchdog&sectionIs=news&searchyear=2018 Eventually the Isle of Man Financial Legislator has decided to put some information up warning this is a scam .... only almost 9 months after we notified Action Fraud wonder how everybody stand on the fact that it was reported and n action taken even though they knew about it .... so anybody scammed after the information was reported to the powers that be would be pretty upset ..... if this was USA they would be dragged through court for heaps of money!
