    Vegetables should be given daily, the following are all safe for your Parrot.
    Beet greens
    Bok choy (Pak Choy)
    Brussels Sprouts
    Carrot Tops
    Cavolo Nero
    Chickweed (Stellaria media)
    Chinese Cabbage
    Dandelion greens
    French Beans and Runner Beans (better served steamed or lightly boiled)
    Greater Plantain (Plantago major)
    Lettuce (dark green varieties)
    Mange Tout
    Pepper (Bell, Jalapeno, Chilli etc.)
    Radish Tops (greens)
    Squash (Butternut, Winter and other varieties)
    Sweet Corn
    Sweet Potato
    Turnip greens

    I must admit Ive become a bit lazy with Flint and his veg, he tends to get cooked frozen mixed veg, so not as much variation as he could. Must try to do better!

    I use frozen veg, get it out the the night before then microwave it, maybe not ideal but they eat better than me lol

    You know I can't get peas here where I live only frozen ones ,they eat green beans here.

    What's the fat ones that you get ,is it broad beans or something, are they not good for them I remember reading that they were not good but now I'm not sure. Anyway they don't get them so it doesn't matter. But are they ok or not.

    I give mine broad beans, Zuri loves them, have read about them being bad in large quantities if not cooked properly but sure a few a day are fine :thumbsup:

    my birds eat all the left over veg when we have some , but you do have to be carefull were thay go to the loo.

    Mine love beans too. I also feed frozen veg, I wouldn`t have the time or money to pay for fresh I don`t think.

    at least Luna will eat mainly everything.. baby is fussy, like Budge was , she like parsnips and yellow and orange peppers but thats about it with veggies lol

    Another reason i am glad i got her straight on pellets.

    the babes love cauliflower, brocolli, sprouts, french beans, parsnips, sugar snap peas they are the favs..... but they eat a variety but i think i make to much for them now there is only 4 as they never eat it all!!!!

    mac doesnt like frozen veg!! lol only fresh will do hahahah he just eating carrots sprouts and sweetcorn!! lovely mix ewwwww (the sprouts stink)!!!!

    lol love it liz

    mine done get anything frozen - i steam the veggies every 2nd day for them

    at the moment Baby is into radish ( not steamed lol )

    Mine like vegetable tagliatelli!! Aww Liz were you deprived of pumpkins as a child? Love your idea going to try that one, it`ll have to be a yellow pepper though!
