Using The Aviator Harness As Requested!

That was absolutely amazing -- just got two harnesses off Scarlett's to try on my two - I did try Miss Rambo years ago with the other type of harness with the wee metal clips but found them to be utterly ridiculous to open and caused her more grief and me more bites, so looking forward to trying with the new harnes and Fergus is going to be a real challenge as I cannot handle him as I do her - yet - in saying that though if he sees that she is okay with it then he will eventually be okay with it too... thanks again for sharing the very informative video and Gypsy is gorgeous

Was that her first time

Bringing Dave to your house for lessons!  Or, buying similar bracelets to distract him

On a serious note, it's not even part of my dealings with Dave. I leave that to Ellis, but whatever she tries he goes mental biting and fussing.

It was the first time we tried her Hun yes, but we don't know anything about her previous life, she may well of had one in before...but in fairness I can get the harness on all the toos, even dexter but that's a tricky one as he is happy getting petted but you can't handle him as such if that makes sense....maybe it's just that toos are very relaxed, they all love their wings lifted and tickled so manoeuvring wings is very easy!!

Glad you enjoyed it!

That's brill Nikki, excellent for potential harness users to watch

brilliant video hun...do you have the one of you teaching young James to pop it on too as that was a brilliant one too :)

nag nag nag thats all i ever do lol

i thought so too but went scrolling and scrolling..and then forgot what the heck i was looking for lol

Hi you made this look so easy! I tried this on my baby grey Charlie for the first time on Sunday we got it on ok but didn't find it so easy to get off. I think Charlie and I need more practise x

Brilliant Nikki, Gypsy is beautiful.

I might video me trying to get Charlie to where one would give everyone a good laugh LOL  I can see it being very difficult.  Am about to order for from Scarlets.  Wish me luck.  I think a few fingers may go missing LOL

While you are on to Scarletts placing order for harness get yourself a tube of F10 Barrier cream ointment - and purchase Elastoplasts before attempting to put the harness on  --- wishing you all the best and look forward to the video.. Scarlett will also alert A&E for you and have them on standby ha ha ha

Seriously though Buddyleo the F10 ointment helps to heal the cuts way quicker than ordinary measures - I swear by it :)

Ill make sure I order some Rhonda, I am not looking forward to it, hubby thinks it will be hysterical, he cannot see me every getting Charlie to wear one, he thinks I need to buy a cork for his beak LOL Ive told him hes looking after the head end while I sort out the wings LOL  Charlie may surprise us, but I think it will be a nightmare, if I get it on him and he doesn't trash it, I will be amazed.   I need to get him in a good mood, when hes being loving he is amazing.  Get him on a bad day and hes hell, everything is full on, life's a rush, he cant do anything slowly. LOL

I put harness on Miss Rambo first thing in the morning before brekkie. Timing just felt right cuz she wanted out for a cuddle and it worked. I found if she had something to nibble on ie corner of pillow while we were on sofa on second time I put harness on it saved my fingers. It seems a bit fiddly and strange at first but does get easier with repeat episodes.

Look forward to hearing how things go :)

Do you has a video for when you dont have a willing subject ? :)

Wow! Clearly a lot of trust between the two of you. I guess starting by just introducing the harness and putting their head through to get a treat etc would help with those birds who aren't too sure?
