Unsure About My Budgie's Moult

I have a budgie and have had him for just over six months now, he has molted before, though it took a bit longer than most websites said it should, but he was happy and chirpy and I wasn't worried. He stopped molting completely for about a month but now he's back at molting again, which is worrying, but he's still happy and chirpy, nothing else abnormal as far as I can tell apart from the weird molting. He also has this patch on his forehead which is only pin/blood feathers, no healthy ones, so I was wondering if this is normal and what I should do?
Any advice would be appreciated thanks! ;):)

Hello and welcome, Moulting regully is not somthing i worry about as it also shows good health and keeping the feathers looking in prim condition to attract a mate. Providing the new pins comming through are turning into undamaged feathers then relax, can i ask what diet you are feeding, we love photos

:welcome: Can you give him a slight spray with warm water that may help. Also can you post up a photo as we love photos:thumbsup:

Have you got some pictures of where he is moulting? Is it always the same feathers or same areas or different?

If he is constantly loosing the same feathers for instance always the flights feathers etc then it is a cause for concern.

Is the temperature of the room he is kept in a steady temperature?

But it maybe that he's having a huge moult and it's taking a while.

The diet I feed him is a typical budgie mix, with millet for training and the occasional once-a-month treat, he also has either lettuce, spinach, grass or snowpea shoots every day, as well as a soaked food mix that is in the cage all the time but he rarely eats the soaked food. He has a free choice diet.
Sorry, photos are difficult because he goes into full spaz mode when he sees the camera, but his head looks like the picture below but the patch of only blood/pin feathers is only 1/3
the size of the one in this pic:
