I thought I would share some chop making efforts - I have called this two seasons chops because the wonderful colours reminded me of Spring and Autumn. Hope this inspires the uninspired non chop makers :)

Autumn chop (RH side)
Beetroot, two large, peeled, food processed/chopped and lightly steamed (cooks quicker and is less wet)
Two bags of Squash Boodles, microwaved as per instructions
Small Sweet Potato food processed/chopped and lightly steamed
Two large Carrots, peeled and grated (were extra juicy so squeezed a little out)
1/2 packet Pomegranate Jewels
Few handfuls of frozen Sweetcorn
Some Orzo pasta uncooked
Combine, bag and freeze.

Spring chop (LH side)
Grated apple
1/2 packet Pomegranate jewels
Some of the Squash Boodles, microwaved as per instructions from above recipe
Some of the two large carrots, peeled and grated (were extra juicy so squeezed a little out)
Frozen peas
Some Orzo pasta uncooked
Two packs of radishes chopped/food processed
Two packs of Sugar Snap peas chopped/food processed
Combine, bag and freeze.

* Everything is washed well before preparation.

Adding a small amount of pasta uncooked helps take up excess moisture from the veggies, when thawed it is soft. I use this or the baby stars pasta mainly because I had to watch the carbs with Plum (parrot on a diet :)) It also seems to work well.

Larger amounts of chop made will take the bigger types of pasta IMHO.

That looks delicious! Thank you very much for the recipes - I am going to try it!
