@TomsMum Sorry to hear you are down, hope things improve as the day goes on.

Hope everyone is having a super day where possible, sorry things not too good for you @Shirley.

Hot here, very hot, hate the stuff. Last few weeks nothing but rain and now nothing but sunshine and hot. Never right for me, hope Lincs is more sensible.
New dog Bora refuses to go out, she is big so she wins, most of the time, thank goodness for puppy mats, just ordered another 100, when we move...……

Birds being birds and think they know things are not right here, they seem depressed half the time and their radio has broken. Lucy being the spoilt birdie that she is and if I let her on my shoulder it costs me a whole banana to move her off, trouble is the bananas are, erm, going very brown now. Running out of fresh food and still 2 weeks to go, that is the punishment for believing Solicitors.

I had a quick look couldn't see any gammy legs so I assume it was just sitting funny. 5 eggs to go but they may be duds

@Yellowchickenparrot that's good to hear about legs :) The chick I was looking at is the one in the last photo you uploaded … slap bang in the middle of the shot sitting on the centre crease looks like it has dark zebra stipes and is facing away head towards 12 o'clock bottom towards 6 o'clock (only two birds on its left sitting at about 10pm (a little yellow one and a dark zebra one with yellow underside one)

We had them out to clean tonight and yes there is one with splayed legs but he can walk and stand but he's got weak ligaments, apparently after 48hours he might strengthen up if not he's getting is legs strapped together.

:yikes::yikes::yikes: definitely not!! No quail here!!! Had them years ago they are scary dudes when they take off vertically when alarmed they are like little ground to air missiles and only top when hitting the roof of the aviary!!!
