Training tips and ideas

Hey again, Alex stepped on my finger today also, but he bit me a few times very hard. How may I stop him when he is biting? May I distract him with my other hand? Would it be a better idea to hide the apple and try to sit him up on my finger and show it and give only when he steps on my finger.
The biting is so frustrating and hurts, he takes a tini bite and squezes my skin, it hurts less when he tries to bite a bigger chunk.

first of all do not distract him with the other hand as this will make him scared. just slightly twist your finger so he has to concentrate on keeping balance if he goes to bite

I didn't mention that it didn't seem like agression to me. He did it like he was trying or something. He had one foot on my finger and the other on a stick and bit into my finger and bit and bit like he was checking it out and bit stronger and stronger. I mean..he wasnt looking like he was warning me, he was kind of cuorious. But it hurt. Huh i will try with the twisting :) and also im still putting my hands into his cage, I still didn't ever let him out. I have a cat and a dog and I am afraid my cat would have to sleep outside if I cant manage to put Alex back into the cage.
I am very thankfull for every advice, thanks really a lot!
