Morning (just)
Hello my name is DizzyBlue and I have a confession to make
my confession is ...... been watching the little green hen budgie in the aviary and she's been so depressed and quiet since losing Blue. The other two budgies seem to have tried to interact with her but she just moves away and doesn't bother. Soooooo I have just been and collected an old breeding male blue budgie (a spare) who just needed an aviary home. Popped him in the aviary an hour ago and little green hen has been three steps behind him since he entered the aviary  He has a little green stalker :risas3: she's trying very hard to have a good look at him and looks like she's feeling a little more interested in who the newbie is. Fingers crossed he has his head turned by her.
Have a good day peeps

Morning, that's wonderful news @DizzyBlue hopefully they will become best friends very soon.
Alwin follows Theodore everywhere!!! If Theodore wants mummy cuddles you can guess what Alwin wants lol.
It's hard seeing them losing their friend. At some point I will get a couple of budgies to go with Buddy and Sam. They seem to take comfort in one another since both of them lost their friends so am in no rush. Probably get 2 from my local animal sanctuary.
Alwins previous owners are coming over for a visit end of July, so we are looking forward to that as we are going to make a day of it. So lovely how they care for him and wants to be in his life. They are bringing over dinner and she is doing a painting for me as a thank you. I love taking care of Alwin for them and I really don't need thanking but it's so kind of them. He is real sweetheart.

Hope everyone on here is well xxx

Friends called in with card for hubby for tomorrow so we had a cuppa and good catch up.

Am hoping I can collect hubbys pain relief meds from pharmacy later I shall phone them before I go as it's 10mile round trip.

Think Blue2 may be demanding to leave he's trying to have a snooze but a certain green stalker has other ideas. He tucks his head in and she sneaks up and tries to preen him. He wakes and shuffles sideways to put a bit of distance and tucks his head back in .... Yup she sidles up real casual and starts again :risas3: I think he will be shattered by teatime and just give up :budgie2::bird_9426:

A thundery night with heavy rain, walked up to the village without getting wet but got soaked on the way back and l realise that I've not worn the red shoes in the wet before as I now have orange feet 🤣.
I think we should put a camera in the kitchen to see what Dora does while we are away as she hadn't found all her "toys" and looked as if she had been snoozing.
I hope Blue2 gets his beauty sleep although it sounds like little green hen is already smitten 😍
Take care

Just baked myself in the car going into town to collect Alans pain relief medication, boy it is hot hot hot. Obviously doing physio exercises makes the pain worse but he was told he must take the tablets to ease the pain enabling him to do the exercises required so the knee gets back to 'normal' ish. They are the 30/500 Cocodamol so strong he takes 2 every 6hrs.
