Good morning all
So its Remembrance day and as usual my avatar is the Purple Poppy to remember all those animals that went to war in any conflict in any country, not their choice but they stood and fell besides their humans.

Good morning everyone

Yes we must remember all who passed away in conflicts animals and humans. Many of both had no choice but to go.

Hello, a mild and cloudy day here. Just returned from the village Armistice day memorial, it's sobering to have the names read out one by one, but slightly marred by the sounds of the hunt going on across the valley. We weren't the only ones who didn't sing the Marseillaise though!
Dora suddenly became very protective of her cage yesterday and gave me a nasty nip when I was changing her water...I think she is being very irritated by new feathers as there's also much flying the length of the house at top speed while screeching at full volume. Thank goodness she's only a Sennie.
Got our booster jabs booked for early Dec, it seems that after 15th Dec the "pass sanitaire" will only continue to be valid if you have a booster.
Take care folks

All go over this side of the country today.
Shopping for all the other people again
Virus is in the village so that's a flipping pain avoiding people more especially all those who have decided they don't need to sanitize their hands anymore or wear masks while shopping  seems to be mainly the younger generation
Can't get covid boosters sorted so mum, Step dad and myself are all well past 6 month deadline
Oxygen Nurse in the palliative care team came today lovely lass had mum giggling which was good. Laughter is the best medicine
I entertained mum for 5 hours today all she wanted to do was play cards so I right royally was nailed to the wall lost by a disgraceful amount of points.

Perhaps I should put this in the chocolate thread..... I found yet another new chocolate bar plus an old favourite as well. New one is Cadbury crunchy cocoa and the one I haven't seen for years was Duplo. @dianaT

Think I have seen the best film of all time  talk about twists and turns!!! Really seriously stunned by the ending!!! I watch a lot of dvds can't say much really stops me in my tracks takes a lot to make me sit up and be enthralled by any movie in fact in my life time can think of perhaps a handful of them.
If anyone wants a way cool film to watch with a really different twist ... Watch Promising Young Woman I highly recommend it. Rated uk 15
