the Lockmedow show

That's a bit strange, surly they should have had a big stand selling loads of stuff? However my local pet shop said they haven't been able to get any J&J in for months

Maybe it is in short supply then, I'm surprised to see some birds on what looks like rubbish food with peanuts in  in some other your pictures.

I have had troubles getting J&J at the moment from my normal supplier. what surprised me is that it was in the green cheek conur's cage as they are not ones to eat them if they are still in the shell. that may be why it was flicked on the floor. unfortunately you will find at most shows just dry feed in cages, I was able to buy some frozen fresh millet, it did not even last the afternoon, when i got home, Budgies must of thought Christmas had come.

He was about to split them up but they travelled down in that cage and was waiting the aviary to be free so he could spl;it them up with out losing them

Some lovely birds but it breaks my heart to see them all like that I know that's how they have to be 'displayed' if that's the right word, but my goodness how scared they must all be.

Yes, these things are not really my cup of tea either. Stress city for the birds.

the senegal was female and quite sweet, as you know I am not a great lover of birds in cages my self they did have a young timmy there but i never took a photo of him as he was just not happy with any approach. the blue front and the yellow crowned was very calm and enjoying the attention.
