Ten week old Ringneck

So if I have got this correct, your bird will only eat pellet or fruit but still demands food from you while you are there?

Ok your bird is still very young and in the wild will try to encourage its parents to feed it, So it will take fruit and pellets when you are not with your bird, that is good, but while it is being extra demanding its a good time to bond with your bird. it will be mainly on the smaller and softer feed for two to four more weeks before you can introduce normal parrot feed, things like Millet they love when they are young, I do not know what feeds are available in Barbados, how is the virus affecting things where you are?

Okay, so I assume I should still continue to feed her then, the breeder told me to stop as soon as he starts but it pains me to not feed little Bella when she calls out and does the head bobbing. She has millet in her cage that she nibbles occasionally as mentioned but she wont eat any leafy veg like kale when I introduce it. I'm new to birds so I'm slowly learning as I go. I also have budgies but they're a bit easier to take care of as they weren't hand raised like Bella.

As of today we have been coping okay, our PM continues to do a great job. we have had 7 deaths 76 recoveries and 9 people left in isolation. We are reopening in phases most businesses now are allowed to operate with the exception of stand alone bars (to discourage socializing) curfew is now 10pm - 5am. Slowly getting there. Hope you're staying safe where you are. Thanks for asking

I usually soften the pellets in feed her with a syringe, another thing she would do to is dunk the pellets in her water I guess to soften and eat then ..cause when I return I notice only the parrot mix is there but the pellets usually go

You can try her with fresh grass seed that has not been near chemicals or traffic, you can also soak the millet and let it sprout, my Ringnecks love sprouted seeds. I have four Ringnecks, two green Pip and Dobby, One Blue Joe jo and one Yellow Bella all male's. things are starting to be eased regarding the lockdown but still a long way to go, I lost three friends owing to the virus so far two lived in London that did see most cases and one from Maidstone, only about 17 miles away from me.
