Good morning

Dull here too.

Am up down here - of course. Bad night with Arthur he'd been chewing sticks yesterday, something we do try to stop, so in the night he kept coughing & retching, he seems a bit better now thank goodness.

Morning everyone. Dull here too and chilly again. It's supposed to be warm today according to weather forecast so might burn off this evening just in time for it to get dark, like it did yesterday :)

Lazy Sunday planned. Watching Isabel, a historical drama about Isabel of Castile. It's a Spanish production, really good. I find myself watching a lot more programmes with subtitles these days. What with that and the classical music I seem to be getting all highbrow in my old age ;)

Have a lovely day y'all.

Morning All...

I've been up quite a while but sorting out my huge holdall of cables, looking for one in particular, but I found it and then put them all in some kind of order. Its light cloud here today and not cold, I may be doing quite a lot outside if it dont get too hot later.

Birds are very noisy right now, they have been fed and have their toast and will let them out in a minute. They normally get out somewhat earlier than this but will do so when I can have Frankie outside for a while.

I went to a BBQ yesterday, but should call it a Braai as it was run by a couple from Capetown and thats what they called them when I was there. The burgers were spot on, pity about the Frenchies mustard, what happened to the good old English mustard, haha. Ah well, I better get started here, it wont get done while I am sitting down.

Have a great Sunday Everyone

Cheers

good grief Scarlett you are being a bit too energetic for early morning!
I have a lot of animal cleaning and gardening to do today but struggling a little with getting started, more coffee required.
Di, o vile- vomiting dogs in night is not nice to deal with. why do they eat such things? My dog has been on the picky eater scale all week- standing over her dinner refusing to eat it for hours in hope of getting something better- so today she is having a short fast. no breakfast She is a bit plump at moment so won't hurt her and I am really fed up of her messing about with her food. she'll be properly hungry by tonight and eat up .
actually she isn't only one looking porky- I am on diet and so are the rabbits. I realised Moocher had developed a 'shelf' above her tail and thats dangerous- fat buns can get fly strike so the pellet concentrate part of their food has been dramatically reduced. they can still have as much hay/grass as they want but cutting those fattening little pellets right down. I think the problem has arisen as I lost one of my Belgian Hares Boxing day and did not sufficiently readjust who much I was feeding them.

Oh Scarlett, how do you do it? I am no good in the mornings, ask the birdies, toast and brekkies for them, tea for me and that is it till after 10 or 11.

Diana, sticks, once my Polo dog laid next to me on the floor and kept pawing her mouth, so I said let me have a look which she did. Stuck above her teeth across from one side to another was a stick, looked like it had been there for a day or two. Straight in the car, straight to the vet, he literally popped it out in a second, I did feel an idiot, bit where the ends had been it was going a little septic, good she told me. She was the dog that turned bright pink, her skin not her coat, again rush to the vets, by the time he saw her she had lost it, except for a tiny bit. Allergy it seems to the stuff OH had decided to put on their bedding to remove the doggy smell, (could have washed it instead?) Luckily the vets knew me and knew I was not neurotic, usually.

Nice and sunny here so maybe birdies out later, Dusky went out yesterday no problems, Tommy refused so Harry went out for an hour and then Tommy spent his time protesting, his chosen one outside with Harry, terrible. Harry looked sunburnt when she came in, so there I am daubing her with aloe vera, but there had been no sun shining, we would not have put her out if there had, don't care, she still looked red and brown.

Hello everyone, I hope you all have a good Sunday. It's a light grey overcast day here with a little bit of fluffy cloud as well. I'm hoping it will brighten up a bit so I can tidy the garden a bit more as it's a real mess after winter. Chewy has attempted to mate with his rope ball twice, and attempted to eat the door frame three times so far, I have a feeling it's going to be one of those days when I have to watch him like a hawk.

I hate having on my mind jobs that need doing, and never know what the business will do ie when it will turn busy and when deliveries will arrive so I love to get up and at it and tick jobs off. Then i rewarded myself with cake and coffee, no jobs done no cake, simples! Lol
