Good morning all, its a little cooler out side but with clear sky's over night that at this time of year is only expected, its a sunny start and I think its going to get very warm as the day gets on, Flock fed and showered, Poppy laid another egg this morning so in extra demand for my attention. the rest of the flock are all calling in happy tones. I will be going out shortly but have to pick some more Kent cob nuts as the tray I had them in got emptied yesterday, Jackie and Buster maid sure of that. Lisa has laid over night as well (Love Bird), the gang are flying back and forth. I am worried about Pip as he has been extra quiet since Alan departed so I will give him extra one to one, have a good day every one and there birds.

Morning everyone. Had a longer lie this morning as Grant got up for the birds. Cold here and heating currently on, but I think it will get a bit warmer later. It was very windy overnight; nice to fall asleep to.

Nothing much planned for today except catching up on washing and crochet.

Have a good one y'all.

Morning Michael and the rest of the mob to follow. Boy that was a warm night but now its clear skies and a bit chilly outside. Been up to the newsagent, fed robin and made myself a couple of boiled eggs, havn't had those for breakfast for ages . Two eggs, bread and butter and some salt an pepper to sprinkle over the eggs as i eat them all with a nice cuppa aaaah.. The g/daus were not able to help with my text editor but finally yesterday i was able to figure it out myself to my total joy [easily pleased]. Interestingly [or not] I came across 'AbilityNet IT can help' who provide free IT assistance to the disabled and old at you home, at 74 i qualified and they rang me for a lil more detail such as if there is parking and if any animals at home like dogs [or vicious parrots lol] the idea is that they contact all their volunteers in your area and hopefully who might help. I havn't heard from the yet but what a great thing. I will let them know it is now resolved.
Not doing awt today, picking damsons tomorrow and a bike ride.
Have a good day all

Morning everyone

It feels very Autumnal here in Bromsgrove this morning. I’ve survived my dance masterclass held yesterday in a big dance studio located in the Hipprodrome Theatre, Birmingham. My feet are killing me, sometimes I forget I’m 52. Kept up with all the 20 year olds though. This morning I’m having a bake-off session homemade apple pie and a bakewell tart is going to be my contribution to Sunday Dinner at my daughters, comfort food to go with the Shepherds pie she’s making. I usually make custard, but my son in law prefers “birds” so I’ve got him a carton of it. Also going to bake some birdie bread for Scruffy and make him some apple sauce for the freezer with the remaining apples gifted to me by my friend Steve.

Then whilst everything is baking I’m taking the oven timer into the lounge for a spot of cage cleaning for the budgies and Scruff, then hopefully everything out of the oven so I can go clean the chicken coop. Not off to Amies till 4 so hopefully I’ll get some time to sit and read to Scruff before I go out. He won’t care he’ll be on his java tree watching the telly, but it makes me feel better. We are currently reading Stephen Fry “Mythos”. I have a mad week at work next week, I’m travelling down to London for a meeting so will have to FaceTime scruff as I like to say goodnight. Yep i am the crazy mad bird lady.

Morning all
It's sunny here in MK.
Another warm day. The boys are eating breakfast and watching formula cars.
Got a bit more tidying and later on barbecue as one never know if this is the last warm day.
Cuddles to all birdies out there.

Afternoon all,
Another hot day here - around 33 I think. Did some scything this morning but I need to be out and cutting earlier as the grass is both too long (shoould have been cut in July really but I didnt have the proper scythe) and too difficult to cut when it is dry oncethe suns been on it. Dora came and watched and the chickens chased me around so I have a number of half cut areas.!

Afternoon all
Not one bit of work being done today over here did everything yesterday and won't be doing anything that is not totally critically necessary until tomorrow (obviously my flock are in the critical category that goes without saying)
Weather is neither nowt nor sommat over here calm walmish but now getting over cast.
Had chocolate trifle for breakfast and a large choccie cookie straight after nom nom nom
Now sat with a large bag of palma violets total favourite sweeties and going to watch some trash on the tv for a bit before I decide what else to meander my way through until later
Have a huge chunk of cake that I am going to stuff myself with over a nice fresh ground steaming mug of milky coffee may even blob cream on top of it just because I can :p
Best news I heard today is that Marathon bars are going to be changing their name back to Marathon bars after they have been called snickers for the last 20 or 30 years! About time that one was sorted out. Will be waiting to see if Cif becomes Jif once more and Olay returns from being renamed Ulay! That would be a turn up for the books, kind of complete circle.
Anyways whatever your up to take it steady and enjoy

Me just like the rest of the year
I don't drink
I don't go out socialising
I don't go on holidays
I don't stay away from home even for one night
I don't buy make up or fashionable new cloths and accessories
My only real vice besides my flock is this forum  pretty sad flipping existence really … so need to just get a ruddy life!
But will consider that thought perhaps tomorrow

Oooo just thought of another vice …. I bought a tub of ice cream yesterday … hmmmm scrummy!
Cherry ice cream can't think of a better way to finish my birthday off except maybe throwing sprinkles on top!
Right off to indulge some more and have belly ache in the morning, cholesterol through the roof and blood pressure to make the doctor have a fit :pancarta:
Catch you on the flip side :tmnt:

@KEV H Welcome back from holiday hope you and Hale had a brilliant time matey :)
