You've been busy then. I guess you have a certified boiler tester at your club like most clubs have.

I can remember when I had the boiler rebuilt for my Stanley the relief when the boiler passed its inspection and the feeling the heart of the car was now ticking fine, it was alive at last

For those who are interested, this is what I do in my spare time. I fancy myself as a model engineer although with the mess I get into sometimes I wonder if I qualify as a model engineer lol. Here is my tread on my G1 loco build I have calculated it should take me about two years to build.View attachment 28234 View attachment 28235 View attachment 28236 View attachment 28237 View attachment 28238
I have to say I think your amazing . I shall watch this with interest. My father used to have a small steam engine he used to get going in a sat morning. It was just the engine. Quite large. This reminds me of him. Please keep the photos coming. It’s amazing. 🎉

@AngieL it reminds me of my childhood days when my dad nan and my brother would all go and ride on the trains. I have always been into it but after my first model railway It just grew into a passion and 28 years later I still get as much enjoyment out of it as I always have, obviously I make the locos now and have a fair few engines from 00 scale up to 5". I have been getting the boiler done which is a task I must say.
