For those who are interested, this is what I do in my spare time. I fancy myself as a model engineer although with the mess I get into sometimes I wonder if I qualify as a model engineer lol. Interesting to see folks hobbies.

Hubby says well done you are far more advanced than he is with his 2.5 Eagle (Martin Evans design).
That crankshaft looks interesting to make.

He's not, too many things 'on the go' ! and nothing completed as ever.

Surprised how popular model trains are, my SIL makes the scenery that goes with the smaller ones, causes a little friction in the household but I stick up for him, he is very good, he does have his trains as well, that is what garages are for.

I have re-bored car engines and rebuilt the engine completely on a few of my old classics with a Austin seven it was in such a bad state that I had to have liners made and re-bore it to fit them.
