So gutted

I know how sad you fill, Holly has gained all her feathers twice only to find them sitting on the floor and her with a bald chest again. only wish I knew the trigger, its so heart breaking, if only we could read what goes on in our birds minds or what has caused her action

I don’t know, she’s been out in the aviary lots, had lots of yummy foods, she is very sexy literally if she sees my hand she start regurgitating on me, I don’t give her any attention other than move her about to the aviary etc.

Any sparrow hawks been seen? Something has triggered it somewhere they don't do it just to scare us silly..... Then again may have to review that last thought!

If it was a habit then it would be all the time like Henni does off and on picking throughout the day in front of me behind my back randomly stopping playing and doing it suddenly waking up and doing it...... rather than a huge one off kind of thing pulling the lot out, that to me says upset with something causing stress.
Perhaps make a note and lets see how long till grown back in and if there is another event and what things matched up incidence wise that can be noted..... Get your Sherlock Holmes deerstalker on :risas3:

She started with her first malt and went through fazes for the last few years, she will do it right in front of me, behind my back, in the aviary, when she’s out it doesn’t seem to matter. How ever she seemed to have about three months where she was just doing the odd bit and she was looking good them boom everything gone literally over night. she is fairly fruity at th moment so maybe it’s a frustration thing as I ignore her more when she’s like that, I talk to her more and try to give her more things to do but I suppose it’s not the same.
