They got bored?Whenever I have make chop and freeze it, they love it day 1, day 2 they say, "huh, this again?" and by day 3 they just throw it on the floor, any ideas what I am doing wrong?
I would eat this! Looks gorgeous! Eddie seems to prefer chunks.. tried chop and little green monster just ate the lumpsNot exactly chop but definitely sprouting. This was a raw breakfast a few days ago:
This was yesterday's cooked mash for the evening meal. Grains and legumes cooked with squash, carrot, celery, ginger, turmeric, chili, bit of garlic, spinach, lemon and loads of fresh sage. I vary the flavours so they don't get bored:
I freeze it in portions. When serving I add flax oil and some peas. Already have an eager customer:
It's dished up with raw sprouts and a few raw fruit and veggies:
How did they take to it??Tried to copy @Roz this morning using what I have in the cupboards. sweet potato, spinac, split peas, split lentils, fresh basil, turmeric, chill View attachment 29815and chia seed on top with a sneaky walnut.
I got a sprouting jar from Lidl.. it’s fab! Bought the soaking and sprouting mix from Scarletts and delighted to say that Eddie loves it! Happy to have it soaked or sprouted but prefers soakedI have started to take the chop approach with our birds, will be nice to see all the varying chop for inspiration! Also looking into sprouting, so glad i came across this site!

I had seen the soaking and sprouting mix on scarlets and was going to ask if anybody recommended this! The concept of soaking and chop seemed scary at first haha, but looking more into it realised it's not that hard glad your Eddie loves the soaking/sprouted goodies, ordering some today!
Try Realfoods for sprouting supplies, put some time aside as you will be there looking for ages the first time LOL.
