So I saw a post today about someone who makes DIY toys etc and they had drilled holes in lots for coke bottle plastic lids and thread them onto a rod for the parrot to slide up and down and chew on. I’m not sure of my views on this toy but the most parrot toys have plastic beeds and things on. I worry the bottle lids would be to soft and they would be able to get little chunks off. What do you Guys think?

I use the tops from plastic milk bottles on the bottom of the kebobs often to support what has been skewered, my B&G finds these far more entertaining and are always totally destroyed, I do wonder if he does ingest some plastic I just try to give him more credit that he doesn't, having said that some of the toys purchased have hard plastic and he can take that apart too!.
So in answer to your question - Yes those toys will be mullered by some birds, mine is particularly destructive,
("Bless him") after all it is Sunday tomorrow.
