Safe deep fat fryer

Hi hope everyone is keeping well in this difficult time. I was wondering if it's Safe to use a deep fat fryer with my Indian ringneck in the house if so what type is safest to use. Kind regards

I have one and as long as it is temperature controlled and not set to the very highest levels they are fine, always have the lid on and make sure your bird is not near when hot and taking cooked food out. like any hot surface you should always be mindful that your bird will not land on it

when cooking I chase all my birds out of the kitchen, I cannot stay in the kitchen to watch the food cook or my flock will come back in, I have no door I can close. I rely on timers and stay in the living room when cooking

Do be careful as those fryers once reached their potential heat and when frying can and do give off fumes, which travels beyond the kitchen area. I have used many different models over the year and found this out, it was too worrying so now I only use oven chips.
