Reunited Green cheeked Conure parakeet - Swansea SA1 - August 2026

Anyone lost a conure parakeet in Swansea SA1 area during August.

Found him in my garden being chased by the local cat.

Now safe & well and eating well.

Sex unknown and seems to be around 3 years old at a guess.

Aww good you have him safe. I wonder whether he's microchipped , I cannot see a leg ring, maybe local vets know of one that went missing.

Go on to National Pet Register it's free to join if you have found one they are RSPCA owned website and have more coverage than most websites

Vet scanned today and said No microchip found.

yes, ads done and search social media with no luck.

Oh dear that is so sad such a lovely little parrot. Will you keep it.

For me, I'm too old for a parrot and their lifespan to look after fully.

I'll try and find the owner for another week and if no success, I'll give him up to someone hopefully off this site with green cheeked concure already or got a current aviary to house the bird.

Seems a quite friendly bird once you spent time with it for a day or two and a very quick learner as I found out.

So any fellow members in Wales who might want an extra bird then please leave a message.
