Our Eclectus Frankie was also in state when we go him - he was feather plucking. A full moult later and he was fine and no more plucking.

Possibly due to being kept in cramped conditions, or from transportation in a carrier that wasn't large enough. Do you know how old he is? Younger birds have to learn how to keep their feathers in good condition - the juvenile plumage and even the next set can look a little tatty, even in a suitable environment.

Not much you can do with them really, other than ensuring that he has enough space to move around without bending/damaging them any more.. He may be encouraged to preen more often if given a spray/shower/bath on a regular basis. This is highly beneficial for several reasons e.g. a lot of birds love a shower so it is good for mental health, it helps with skin health and condition of plumage. He will do the best that he can to tidy them up and they will be replaced at the next moult.

An avian vet will be able to provide a better assessment and make recommendations. I personally wouldn't attempt to "fix" anything without specialist advice.

Hello and welcome, The problem of the feather being so scruffy may be down to being in a cage that is not desined to house a B&G, the damage looks more like what you will see if a bird catches its tail as it moves.

They're is also a problems with his wings the files to big so I can't post it but his wing feathers are snapped and frayed too

It's a common problem in bigger birds as they are normally not kept in the right size cage and damage their features. Good diet, lots of space and some showers will improve feather condition but it could take 12 months or more till you see a real difference.

Are you sure the wings haven't been clipped?
Other thing to mention did you quarantine and have the bird avian vet checked before introducing to your other bird?
Damaged feathers will mould out and come back good over the next year as Yellowchickenparrot said try and ensure he / she gets lots of fruit and veggies and a good reputable either seed or pellet diet and being Macau family they do need a higher fat content in the diet with things like nuts walnuts etc
