Dear little chap not been himself recently, sleeping a lot, feeling cold when he comes on me, eating okay, poop not too bad (they eat a lot of fruits) so have given him Guardian Angel which has helped, but still sleeping more and not his usual feisty self. Also I think he's lost some weight.
So phoned vet Billa for a chat this morning who said bring him down so off I went with him.
This is the first time in his 22yrs he's needed to see a vet.
After a lengthy chat about him she anaesthetised him in his carrier so I am pleased I took him in that and not the travel cage one.
He had bloods, x ray, throat swap(cannot remember the proper name) naturally he obliged with poo, she tried to cover it all under one anaesthetic as said if the bloods don't show anything it would mean another anaesthetic to do x ray. She showed us xrays but needs to study them, unsure if liver may be slightly enlarged. He only weighs 112g & Sennies are usually from 125-170or thereabouts so although eating is losing weight.
One of the nurses was warming him up with some sort of warm air thing into his carrier as he came round.
I will get a phone call re results probably tomorrow.
So a worrying time here.
