Plucking nightmare

I don't doubt that hun but teaching and learning are different, this is something that I will take up again with Lou when I can get things to settle down a bit. It stretches them so much more beyond normal instinctual behaviours.

I can give Benji (Patty) a box and he is happy as larry, doesn't need anymore than this really along with his toys. But 'too's and Grey's are different their are smart cookies and need more stimulation.

How's Luna doing hun? Just a thought, she would be a prime candidate for a Sock Buddy (pattern available to buy on-line).

Errrr its getting a bit better I have been letting her out but not giving any cuddles or toutchy play just a head scratch. She has loads of pin feathers and some that come through and look good and can stay upto a week then she will just go for It in a hour and all gone :×(

Lou is a bit similar but her triggers are us, she is not keen on being left for periods of time even with other birdies. You could try the sock buddy which would help as it looks like Luna leaves her wings alone. Lou will pull pins out in front of me and yell 'cause it hurts, how daft is that?

May be Lou just wants to look like her Mummy, wanting to be more like a grown up, you know what four year old children are like

@Yellowchickenparrot Parrot Sock buddy's you make yourself as far as I know. If you type it into your browser some instructions will come up but I would stay away from Facebook, they may have the pattern but so much rubbish hiding it.
