Our little baby ruby decided to call it a day

We are shocked. Ruby was fine in the morning and had the run of the house. She returned to her cage and we went shopping. 3 hours later she was dead. We've only had her for 3 months and they were amazing with her houdini acts and destruction missions. Just can't get to grips on why she passed.

I am so sorry to hear of the passing of little Ruby may she fly free to rainbow bridge. is it possible she may of chewed at something that may of affected her. one of the Kaks of my old neighbour passed away after chewing wood that unknowingly had been treated for woodworm

I don't know Michael, she used to bite at cardboard and spit it out. We always had good food for her. She apparently was making a loud kaka noise our neighbor mentioned then went quiet. We found an egg hidden behind a photo frame also.

it is possible she got egg bound, there is a condition where an egg dose not develop in the correct place but only an PM can say for sure the cause
