Ollie's undigested material in poop update

Ollie has had undigested food in his poop for a few months now. The vet sent away fecal material for testing. Results were inconclusive/nothing abnormal. He seemed to get a little better. Then recently there was more undigested material. Ollie seemed always hungry and tired. He was doing the rounds, stealing everybirdie's millet spray. Here he is in Kobe's cage:

This was Ollie's poop straight after eating the millet, which shocked me:

I called the vet out again and we decided to try him on a course of broad spectrum antibiotics since it had been going on so long. So he's on a 7 day course of Baytril. This is day 4 and his poops are looking markedly better:

I have been terrified for months that it could be Avian Bornavirus Ganglioneuritis, since he has also been vomiting on and off. I am hugely relieved the Baytril seems to be working... fingers crossed.

Thanks so much for your well wishes, everyone!

WOWZER scary stuff :yikes:
Hopefully it is just hypermobility of the intestinal tract due to bacterial flooding and the baytril sorts it out. Don't forget baytril does strip out calcium so make sure he gets extra.
OMG I hope so!! I didn't know that about Baytril and calcium - thank you - I will order some Zolcal D tonight. Mine's old.

Can I ask what Is the best way to get calcium back in @DizzyBlue?

Thanks everyone. Well, after 8 days of injecting orange pieces and Ollie sucking them dry, he caught on and hasn't eaten them since! Poops seem much better than they were. This was a poop tonight:

Sometimes there are small bits still, sometimes the poops look normal. Ollie has been more tired than usual over the last month, but tonight he played and seemed back to his old self.

Eddie I know you asked DizzyBlue, but as I am here a calcium supplement would be the best way to get calcium back in. Something like Zolcal D or Calcivet. The Vit D (ie. Zolcal "D") helps the body absorb the calcium.

Thanks, I know my friend has Calcivet for their bearded dragon so know I can get my hands on some of that now!
