Odd Dreams

Ok good bit of general banter firstly do you remember your dreams?
I do which apparently is unusual as I can have multiple dreams each night probably because I only sleep in short sporadic bursts maximum sleep about 4hours in every 24hours but broken up sleep a little wake then sleep a bit more then wake again.

Anyway last night was no exception but one was really really strange.
They say you work out things in your dreams that prayed on your mind in the day....

I dreamt I was driving locally in the early hours of the morning (not unusual as I do sometimes go out driving when I can't sleep)

I dreamt the route I was driving as the streets I know are not actually near each other but in the dream they were. Then I caught sight of a chimpanzee holding a carrot running from the docks area and heading for the town centre.

I dreamt I phoned the police and was demanding they tell me if it's had its vaccinations and was microchipped. How the heck I thought they would know that is beyond me! Why I wasn't more concerned it was lost or a dangerous wild animal on the loose....weird!

Talk about random! Why the carrot and not something in proper association like a banana?

Any of the rest of you ever wake up and remember your dream and think what the heck was all that about?

Apparently the vast majority of people only remember them if they are woken up by them suppose like nightmares or when they are falling in dreams etc
Gladto know I am not the oy person who remembers their dreams

Many people remember there dreams, i used to have a bad dream regally, the same dream based on an incident, It got to a stage of me not wanting to go to sleep and the cause of my lack of sleeping even today, it may be why i do not remember my dreams as my brain blocks them out.

Many times I had had dreams that were more like a premonition scary some of them, but...if I told someone sometimes they didn't happen, that's the only way I can explain it. One of my late aunts was the same.

Oh my gosh I often remember my dreams and they are weirdddd!

Last week I was at my parents dog-sitting and we took Pico. All fine while my parents were away but when they came back my dad was opening windows and doors willy-nilly!

Anyway, the other night I had a horrible dream where I had been out and my dad had got Pico out during the day. When I came home my dad had Pico on his shoulder with his hand around him, stood at the wide open front door talking to the postman! I was screaming at him to shut the door and he was like "it's okay, I've got hold of him".

I woke up in such a state! Definitely not letting my parents bird-sit for us...

For some unbeknown dream reason their eggs were iridescent peacock patterned pear shaped eggs that had to be washed in water first to activate them. Then I put them under a duck in an incubator..... another weird dream reason.

There was a knock at the door and a man telling me off that the magpie in my garden was smashing nests and throwing them in the main road. I went outside and it wasn't a magpie as I decided that the bird wasn't strong enough to carry the nest that was for some reason made out of pottery plus the chicks inside to drop it on the road side.
I gathered the chicks up and they were all great tit chicks but for some reason they were all fully feathered but needed hand rearing. They wouldn't sit still at feeding time because they kept getting so excited about being fed and it was really hard to keep track of them as to who had been fed and who hadn't. They too ended up in the incubator under the duck who kept biting me.

Talk about confused when I woke up. Sat there for 5 minutes thinking idiot you wouldn't put a duck in an incubator to incubate eggs, nor would you put a none aquatic bird species under a duck. How th heck did the nest end out made of pottery and why were those chicks fully feathered?? Took a good strong cup of coffee to think .... oh yeah a dream so things can be weird :BangHead:

Last night I dreamed about a Suffolk Punch but for some unbeknown reason it was the wrong colour! The come in shade grades of a rich red brown but the dream one was slate grey and cream. It kept escaping over fences and I had to keep going and retrieving it. wonder if I can use all the dream walking towards my 10,000 steps?
