New kakariki owner

I'm right up in East Yorkshire so I'm out of the mix :(
Am surprised at a kak causing an asthma attack usually its greys and cockatoo family with them having so much dander .... oh and pigeons obviously.
Have you tried damp clothing the dust away and an air purifier?
Off hand can't think of anybody in the Norfolk area ... will put my thinking cap on...
It's been so bad its slso triggering my dry eye syndrome too. I hope I find someone who can let him free fly bcoz he's used to it daily now

I just wanted to say thank you for all the helpful advice I had been given.

I was SO SAD to see him go, he was collected by a lovely couple from a local bird sanctuary this morning and he's going to live with an experienced bird lover.

She will let him out to fly around the house and he will hear other birds chattering.

I cant believe how much stuff I accumulated for one bird. There was virtually no room in the car for the couple ha!

I feel and hope he will have a secure place from now onwards with someone who is healthy enough to be able to spend time with him that he deserves.

I'm so sorry for this sad outcome but it's also a good outcome because he will still be loved and well looked after.
