New Bird Room Suggestions:.............

David is busy with the new room but we are unsure what to do with the windows. The frames are PVC or similar stuff and we do not really wish them to eat them away as they did with the window ledge in Scotland. Has anyone any ideas or suggestions to keep the pesky beaks off please?

the windows in my bird room have bars from an old cage over them, they open up but can be locked in place, I can leave the windows open knowing the birds can not get out and are safe I will take a photo tomorrow

ok I use washable covering on my walls, I get the big long cardboard rolls that come with carpet and cut them down ropes across different places, lots of wood around for them to chew branches from safe trees hang toys up and have a few feeding areas so quarrels do not happen, most of my flock can go in and out as they please but many will just stay in the living room. I have a dehumidifier and a purifier in the room plus at times I have a fountain running. (Mainly when it is hot weather)

Thank you for your suggestions. At the moment the room is still in progress, husband away Sunday to Saturday every week so very little time for him. He is making steady progress and I will have to let him have some of the say, unfortunately.
