Nest Box Cam

He sent it to me and I've been glued to watching it! Fascinating and enthralling watching feeding through the night time hours when dad took over feed regime. Don't think anybody in this nest has so far slept much during their roosting hours it's been doze wake preen feed doze shuffle around feed and so it goes on.

Took a photo from my computer with my phone.
Two chicks, there's a hatched egg shell from chick number two which is sat behind chick number one's backside and one whole egg still brooding under mum that's going to be very tiny compared to chick number one if and when it hatches.

@DanAndMarley I see two halves of a shell in the nest has chick number 3 hatched in the last 24 hours?

I saw the egg last night, the hen was not sitting on it and still whole. Have to look at sunrise to see if it's hatched.

Laughing my socks off at the moment. Mum has chicks under her and half of dad trying to look at them. She's getting pretty hacked off with him and was flicking her shoulders at him trying to move him I think he's in bother

All adults just got out of the nest two chicks one whole egg and two halves of a shell. Mum just gone back in and straight on to the egg.

The chicks are growing well, and the parents are doing a great job of keeping those crops full. I saw the hen kicking the third egg around the nest earlier on in the day, so not sure that egg is viable. Even if it did hatch I don't think it would survive.

@DanAndMarley your right that egg has been discarded I can see it's no longer being brooded seems to be too of the screen ... Unless that's one of the halves I could see before

I originally thought it was one of the half's, but when you mentioned it, it looked a cleaner white then the other half's that I had seen before.

Yes! I got in, thank you. Such a lovely opportunity to see these nesting macaws . It's always amusing that these tiny gangly bald aliens turn into such majestic creatures .

just tuned in to the panama nest and the macaw in there has clocked the webcam and climbed up to have a chew That is so NOT like a parrot!

Chick number 3 has hatched and it's tiny compared to the other two

I am very surprised by this, as I would have thought maybe a day or to at the most between each hatching. I really hope the little one survives.

I daren't watch just in case little one doesn't make it. I know it's nature but doesn't mean that I have to see it in action

Nature is a wonderful thing, the good the bad and the ugly. Little one is looking OK at the moment.

Think there is a chick in Ceibo Alto box, haven't seen it yet, but there is part of a broken shell in view.

I can confirm there is one chick and one egg in Ceibo Alto box, just seen it as the hen has just left the nest.
