Hi, i got Peri last year when he was 6 month old he's now 1yr 3m.
Going through a moult at minute, honestly amount of fluffy white feathers that has been moulted i'm surprised he's/she is still a beautiful green. I've looked online to try and get my answer to the question i'm going to ask but i think i'm overthinking and worrying.
Is it normal for them to stop talking?
I have read that a moult can be so stressful and tiring for them, is this true?
Food is still very much enjoined along with fresh apple, broccoli, pea shoots etc.
I have begun giving Aviform Avigold Advance and started putting 5ml into 500ml of water.
The picture of Peri i took this morning while he/she was waiting for me to give my phone so he/she can watch videos of other ringnecks chatting.

Thank you so much, i've been quite worried in case something was wrong but then seeing the amount of feathers
 
@Nats Do you mean there is just no vocalised sounds at all not even whistling and your bird is silent? If you do then that isn't normal.
If you mean mimicking of human speech has ceased but other vocalised sounds that birds make like ringneck sounds is there then that would be normal for the species watching their own kind.
Ringnecks revert to wild state very easily hence there are wild flocks living and breeding in the UK but we don't really have colonies of say cockatiels or budgies here. I would say listening to videos has switched the human vocalisations down to minimal by watching / listening to your phone replaying the videos. So if you don't mind having a bird not mimic but be natural then great and it's not a bad thing but keep up with training and human interactions or your going to have a wild one on your hands.

Still makes the loud squawking sounds yes.
The videos he watches is of those ringneck who talk the human words it's of them he seems to have stopped doing, everything else is still the same
