Looks like feather bronzing
A feather is what it is when it's fully out of the sheath covering and any change there after is done via damage to the feather. So if you came home one day and they were all of a sudden like that then it's feather alteration due to other factors than diet.
What did your vet say?

still waiting for a proper response from the vet. yesterday they asked for more photos so they could see where they were growing. they messaged back around this time yesterday so i’m guessing that will happen again tonight. so if it is that is it bad? yeah i mean she had a few but they definitely got a lot darker in the time i was gone. wasn’t sure if it was a bit of stress but wasn’t sure if that was possible

Feather bronzing is where the feathers are damaged due to things like continually bumping or rubbing against a toy or say when coming through a narrow area where those particular feathers continually get rubbed

she is veryyy playful and she was in her cage a lot more over the weekend since i was away so it’s possible she rubbed more on the bars and toys more than normal
