So sorry to read this. I am sure the clouds are singing with another angel add to its flock. RIP

Thanks again everyone - your kindness and thoughts are so much appreciated -

Ended up at vet again this afternoon as Fergus was making funny breathing sounds - Fergus is my snuffly boy - always has been as has one nare narrower than the other. I have him is usual nebuliser treatment but called vet for appointment and assessment. They were fully booked but receptionist spoke to Sam who said fit him in no matter what. Sam gave Fergus a good check over and took bloods - white cell count was perfect - rest of bloods were sent off. He had a good listen and Fergus wasn't making any sounds by the time we arrived, in fact he was making so much noise in the waiting room telling every dog hello and whistling at a male Eclectus and carrying on telling everyone he is a good boy that Sam could hear him through the examination room door. So, Fergus is back home and on nebuliser treatment three to four times a day as a precaution. We got to thinking and as Fergus is such a mimic, makes squeaky door noises et cetera that maybe his nasal and noisy breathing was him mimicking my crying and snuffling... time will tell once we get his bloods back but honestly he hasn't made a single sound since ...

Sam also told Ken and I about the preliminary findings so far on the post mortem for Miss Rambo - the arteries were not bad really as the ultrasound made out, there was some fat around the outside of the heart and in the abdominal area but that couldn't have caused the problems. Her liver was swollen. Her air sacs were clear. Her lungs had broken vessels and some clots = not sure if this was the cause. He said her deep pain threshold was very high (I think that is what he said) and that when he squeezed her toe really hard she wasn't phased at all, just continued to munch on her paper toy. He asked permission to do further investigations into her spine as he is thinking that is where he will find some answers. ?infection ?clot - so will update again when I know more. Thanks again everyone - your thoughts and kind words help me to get through this ..
