Hi guys, my friend has a little love bird who hatched around Easter time, turns out ‘he’ was a ‘she’ and has lay 4 eggs. They are looking for a little male friend. Could anyone recommend a love bird breeder in the North east or anyone rehousing a male love bird?

    Thanks guys!

please do not put two female love birds together. lovebirds can be very very nasty- even introducing a male to a female has to be done carefully - a female may well be seen as a rival and attacked.

Unless your friend is intending to be breeding them then I wouldn't bother introducing a male
If she's happy enough doing whatever on her own then leave her to sit the eggs and when she's finished she'll let you know its time to remove them and get on with her life.
Tell your fiend to make sure that she gets all the nutritional intake she needs to produce the eggs without depleting her calcium levels etc
