Loro Parque Convention

Is anyone planning to go to the Loro Parque convention in September?

We are considering it - assuming travel is an option then!!

It does clash with Stafford Show, and we usually take the Deli Nature stand down, but the convention seems too good to pass up. After the three days of lectures they have workshops on hand rearing, nutrition and diseases.

Sounds lovely @Catalina

Never been to Loro Pargue but we do have a lot of pictures on here from members who have been. Travel for me is not an option I wouldn't trust anybody to look after my flock .... nor do I know of anybody daft enough to volunteer lol.

KevH and Tomsmum both uploaded heaps of pictures Jude's is available under her username in the media section held under her name. Weird as I was just looking at those looking at all the ammies she had listed

Not sure if Stafford is on or off or what really suppose that is going to depend on bird flu as well as Covid

Anybody who wants to see the Loro Park Convention details it's on this link

It is an amazing place, we have been a few times over the years and I would go every year if I had my way! Their conference looks incredible, it’s only every 4 years and we couldn’t make the last one.

Stafford is going ahead, both the Spring show in March (which we will be at) and the October one.

Have a wonderful time Catalina! I'm jealous!! I can't travel though as I can't leave the birds alone. A friend went to the last one and said it was absolutely brilliant.

Yes we have been twice before, in 2014 & 2018, very much enjoyed it both times. Currently looking into going again this year, although of course the circumstances this year might I guess make things a little different, but hopefully it will go ahead as planned.

Sadly we have never been and now not likely to. Great to see photos and hear all about it though.
