There’s not an avian specialist at Holly ahouse, only Exotics as far as I’m aware. mark at Battleflats is the only specialist in Yorkshire now.
oh right okay. Thankyou ill have a look now yeh she means the world to me. i miss her whenever im away from her and she sings in the morning to wake me up so ill uncover her ahaha
Toms mum is right Battle flats are the closest avian vet. they are near york. have you treated her for mites. Ivermetcin is the best. this looks more than just a normal moult. hope she is better soon
kirbychan and Little Miss Lola! Very glad to hear you are going to get her seen by another avian vet. Her moult doesn't look normal to me either. My avian vet used to take blood from my budgie, no problem. It's lovely to hear of your devotion to Little Miss Lola.
Hi guys just an update lola is getting loads better shes talking again/playing shes eating really well and she has pin feathers all over her head so shes growing them back in shes finally stopped laying eggs for over a week now and i think thats it that caused such the distress! thanks everyone so much for your help Happy Easter!
