Of course you are not a small bird Nugget, goodness me, humans don't understand do they! And I love your cage and that poster is very nice. xx

Hi there Nugget, good to see you settling in so quickly and you do have a very good home, you are a big boy now so you must take care of Essie and keep her busy.

Your poster is brilliant, bright and cheerful, I wish I could put posters behind my birdies but they would eat them so they only have plain, boring cardboard. Keep this diary going as we love to hear from you and many photos please, you are such a handsome, but very cute, little man.

    You're making me blush!

Essie doesn't know if I'm a boy or a girl. I know of course but it's so much more fun if I don't tell her ;)

Hello again Nugget, you really are growing very quickly into a truly gorgeous bird. I love your poster, it makes it look like your home is right out in a beautiful rain-forest! Try not to poop on it too much little one, or it will look like a Tracy Emin thing instead of the lovely outdoor scene :)

    Hello little mischief maker :)
So has your mummy decided what your name to the humans is going to be yet? Are you adopting the name Nugget or is there something else afoot?
How are you getting along with all the toys oh and training your Slave Essie into running around after you 24/7, shouldn't be too hard as she has been pre-owned and very well trained. It's so kind of you to take on our Essie it's such a worry making sure that these slaves get the right bird to handle them you know. Am sure your going to be up to the job though I have heard excellent reports about you from DizzyBlue's old slave .... yeah and she's old!! :risas3:
Any issues please feel free to contact us if you need to retrain Essie further like the issuing of extra treats and having a meltdown as to which pomegranate you may prefer
    Much love Henni Penni x

I hear Essie wanted to find out if I was a boy or a girl before giving me a human name but I think Nugget is sticking, I like the name and when she calls me 'hello Nugget!' I always give her a chirp back hello which makes her so happy - these slaves are so easy to please, aren't they!

It's been fun here so far, since leaving the man and lady who fed me when I was little chickie I've been doing lots of stuff like learning to fly better and trying lots of fruits and veggies, I love grapes but my favourite is strawberries! They are so yummy don't you think?

Essie seems a bit sad sometimes and starts leaking from her face even when I'm on her shoulder so I try to be good to her and not nip her too hard and I also give her some cuddles. She tells me about a brother who is flying high in the sky, lucky birdie! It must be why she wakes up so often in the middle of the night and sticks her face in my cage to check if I'm still there or something, and doesn't leave until I chirp!

I love playing with my toys specially the chewy crinkly paper and some plastic keys that apparently my brother never touched! I love running my beak along the soft rope perches and hopping from perch to perch, the little bridge is super fun to walk on and I sleep in my snuggly tent.

Thanks for offering your help to train my new slave Henny, I might take you up on your offer!

PS. I can mimic kisses already! :)

Kisses already! Steady on there lets not go crazy Nugget just keep that Essie in a little bit of suspense it will do her the world of good. When she looks a little sad then kisses are totally the right thing to do if the eyeballs leak too much .... sorry your just going to have to get tough .....give her a nip on the ear to distract her brain from unwanted behaviour if she goes into wanted behaviour reward her with a snoggy kissy but don't be too liberal lets not spoil her totally!
