Keyboard ]gonbe Mad

Is it a laptop or a desktop?
Shake the keyboard pretty hard if a desktop.
If you have a spare keyboard try to plug that into a USB port and does the same thing happen.
Check the keyboard settings through Control Panel and Make sure you are on UK and not US.

I'll try to think of other things.

the only time I have seen intermittent capitals was owing to the rubber spring on the bottom of the shift key had broke and allowing the lose key to touch the pick up. although it is also possible for it to be the shift lock key it is more unlikely it may be something simple like a but of seed is causing the key not to return properly so my first thoughts are to clean the keyboard.

Also... Buy a keyboard you can plug in, be the cheapest way to fix it! That's the problem with laptops, more difficult to replace things when they break like the mouse and keyboard and even the screen

thanks. keyboard still sick, using onscreen here but painful slow. the caps was to force on a letter that would not go on. this is now looking like read only pc .
