Jude - Tomsmum

Today is the funeral of our dear member Tomsmum (Jude). Sadly I cannot attend but at 12 noon will pay my personal respect to her. Rest peacefully now, no more pain, no more struggle. You are missed by so many. Thank you for being a huge part of The Parrot Club xx:emoji_heart:

Just arrived back from going to the funeral
Long and very upsetting day
The funeral service was beautiful Jude had sorted out what she wanted. Her place of rest … what can I say the robins started tweeting apparently deer and woodpeckers frequent the place the staff told me there will be tree's galore and her casket what else but woven willow adorned with the most beautiful garlands of flowers travelling completely around it in pink and delicate purple adorned on top with another display of the same.
Music was beautiful was a band she followed and they gave special permission for an as yet unreleased track to be played that apparently she had chosen as she thought it was beautiful.
A little talk of reminisce wandering down memory lane by her older brother, her friend the auctioneer who owns Bella the B&G who proudly wore his parrot tie that Jude gave him as a present and a bit about how much she loved this forum which just about finished us all off I think. Floods of tears by all of us more snotty hankies than I care to mention and some very fond memories of which I will treasure them all just as I know everybody else will.
Never truly gone as living inside all of those who's hearts she touched.
Dearest Jude love ya oodles and thank you for being my friend sleep peacefully hunni x

If funerals can be nice then it sounds like Judes certainly was. All arranged by herself, such a wonderful thing to have been able to do. Rest peacefully now Jude you will always be with us xx

Thanks for the description Dizzy I have a image in my head about her funeral and how lovely, sad and moving it must have been.
