wandering around the range last night and seen these, they feel quite sturdy, im not saying they are perfect but in this heat and supervised they may help to protect our little loved ones from escaping.

anyone tried or use them ?

Martin do they look like something that can be used :) well done on finding it and thanks for sharing
I have the JML ones on the kitchen door to the outside but the birds don't have access to the kitchen
Think Roz posted some photo's of the frames she made for her windows on forum and they just hook into place when she needed them.

here's a link to some pictures Roz put up of her's

Living on he farm and having Horses and stables near we get a lot of flies around I use a professional LED zapper and that keep them under control, tried the fly screen but having bigger birds around the screens soon got damaged but they are not expensive to replace. I have tried using beads for the front door but as I like to take cages in and out of my place I found them getting caught and breaking, at the moment a have a chain screen but that is also having the same result, I will be looking at getting the plastic strips that you see at the back of refrigeration lorries to replace them for next year.
