Hi I’m new to parrot club, I have a female blue fronted amazon, Isabella, who is 4 months old. She’s amazing she says hello, laughs and whistles. We have had her home with us for 6 weeks now and she’s currently training step up which is going very well I have numerous perch’s to do this with her dotted around the house so she isn’t always on the hand. She has a perch for when she watches Shrek (that’s her favourite movie). She goes back to her main cage when only fools and horses comes on as she likes to spread her wings on top and scream along to the theme tune. She’s doing really well, we have been doing step up for 4 days and she’s doing really well, at first she was very scared and wouldn’t even come out of the cage onto a perch but she’s slowly and confidently learning more and more. My question if anybody could help me please........ we are going away overnight so I have set her up a travel cage sizes: 2ft wide x 2.5ft length x 2.5ft high, she absolutely loves it I have put her some toys in and one of her favourite perch’s with bowls for her food and water. I introduced her to it today and she went straight in had a drink, some seed and gone off to sleep. Would this be suitable for a night away. She wouldn’t spend much time in the cage locked away as she has her play centre that goes on top. I don’t want her to be uncomfortable so would rather seek advice before going away. She is showing signs of liking it she’s been in there for two hours with both doors open so she isn’t enclosed and she’s slept majority of the time. Any help would be great........ thanks in advance.xx
This is the set up we have for travel within the uk so we are able to take her table so she can eat with us then her cage and play centre can go back on there. she currently eats off of a tray with her bowl on next to my husband so they eat together every night! 🙈

:welcome: what a beauty she is. I would say she will be quite okay in that set up, you have thought it out really well and even included the play stand. Just make sure the catches on the travel cage a secure as often they are not that good.
