New here, but hey seemed like a good place for these questions.
I have a beautiful Olive Green IRN called it Vert. According to the breeder when I got him/her (I don't know the gender even) it was only 13 weeks old and this was back in March and stated it was tame, which it is was a little. But now after a couple of months it won't even come out of its cage and when I get close it just flies to the opposite side of the cage even though I've not changed my approach to Vert but its oppinion to me has seemed to do a 360 and that's kinda worrying.
Though I have never managed to get the bird to take apple or any treats from my hand and right now its all fluffed up and shaking a little. Any advice on this. Added is a picture what its like right now.
I've looked after a Greater Crested cockatoo's and cockatiels before so I kind of know how to handle birds.
